Wedding FAQs

  • Most guests are planning to arrive on Friday for the welcome party, with the wedding on Saturday. If you’d like to make a long weekend out of it, you’re more than welcome to extend your stay at the hotel.

  • Yes! We’ll be hosting a welcome party on Friday, September 4th at 5:00 PM at Bartaco. It’s a three-minute walk from the hotel, and we’d love to see you there!

  • The welcome party attire is summer casual.
Think sundresses, linen, and nice shirts.

  • We have a negotiated room block at the St. Julien Hotel for the weekend.

That said, please feel free to stay wherever you’re most comfortable. There are plenty of other hotels nearby, as well as many Airbnb options.

  • We will have a shuttle picking guests up outside the St. Julien at 4:30 PM, with return shuttles running after the reception.

  • The ceremony will be outdoors on the terrace. Cocktail hour and the reception will take place across both indoor and outdoor spaces.

This time of year is usually summer-like during the day and a bit cooler in the evening. We’ll also have heaters available if it gets chilly.

  • Yes, parking is available.

  • Wedding attire is semi-formal.

    Think:

    • Cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses

    • Suits or sport coats with dress pants

  • Dinner will be a cocktail-style reception, rather than a traditional seated meal.

We’ll be serving passed appetizers, followed by multiple mini entrées that will be passed throughout the evening. The idea is that guests can try a bit of everything, if they’d like. We’ll also have late-night food and cold stations available.

  • No gifts please. We are just excited you are able to celebrate with us.
